Ethnic minorities in North East

Day 1. Arrival in Hanoi
You will be welcomed by our guide at Noi Bai airport and transferred to hotel in the city center Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam,. You have the opportunity to get some first impressions of the city by one hour Cyclo excursion through the bustling Old quarters streets named after specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Enjoy the traditional performance of water puppetry. A “Welcome dinner” at a good restaurant in a colonial building awaits you. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2. Hanoi - Ba Be Lake
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Ba Be. The journey will take you through a green, mar velous region and visiting ethnic minorities.Vietnam and sets the tone for the days ahead. Depending on road and traffic conditions the driver will leave us with a mid to late afternoon arrival in Ba Be lakes. After checking into hotel you will have free time to walk around or simply to relax on the lake. Overnight in Ba Be. This is our first glimpse of rural

Day 3. Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang
babeYou will be woken by the cock crow in early morning, feeling the fresh atmosphere of the mountainous area and having breakfast. The national park of Ba Be lake is centered on large Ba Be lakes. This is just one continuous water body although its name means “three lakes”. After that, we are going on a boat trip to visit  Ba Be lake. On the way we stopover at some hill tribe villages before getting off the beaten track to the Dau Dang Waterfalls and the impressive giant Poong grotto with hundreds of bats. The cruise continuous on the main water source of Ba Be Lake up to Cho Ra. Continue your way to Cao Bang. Overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 4. Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Cao Bang
After breakfast at hotel, we start venturing into the most northern region of Cao Bang province. The scenic roads traverse Trung Khanh before arriving at Ban Gioc Waterfall - considered as the most beautiful waterfall in the North Vietnam. You will visit this sight and follow out trip to Nguom Ngao Caves, just off the road to Cao Bang. This enormous cave has two main entrances and one branch reaching almost all the way to the waterfalls where is a “secret entrance”. The local guide will provided for your exploration of the cave. On the way back, you can make stop as you please, to visit hill tribe villages and taking pictures. Overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 5. Cao Bang - Pac Po Cave - Lang Son
An early the morning, continues your way to the historical cave of Pac Po where Ho Chi Minh set up the head quarter for the August Vietnamese Revolution in 1945. After that, you set off on a half day drive past the verdant and rugged mountain landscape, with a mixture of terraced rice fields and hill villages. You also traverse Dong Khe and That Khe on your way to Lang Son. This border town had been all destroyed during the recent Sino – Vietnamese war, but was rebuilt to become an important trade center in north eastern region. Overnight in Lang Son.

Day 6. Lang Son - Halong

On this day, we going to visit the legendary Tam Thanh, Nhi Thanh caves, Ky Lua market and Lang Son town before you travel by roads to Ha Long Bay – the truly one of most the impressive scenic sights in Vietnam. On the way you will encounter so many ethnic minorities doing their daily works such as logging, herding buffalo and tilling the field. On arrival in Halong you spend the remainder of the day for a well-earned rest on a beach. Overnight in Halong.

Day 7. Halong - Hanoi
halong-hanoiToday you take a boat trip for an exploration of the legendary Ha Long Bay, views of sailing junks navigating past over 3.000 limestone islands and out crops jutting out of the clear and emerald water of the bay are nothing short of spectacular, such as: Titop beach, Sung Sot cave - the biggest one on Halong bay, These limestone karts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along a way you will anchors for a fighting cocks, Kayaking, Snorkeling and leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. We continue our trip to visit pearl farm - learn about the daily life of the fishing village (7 hours) and enjoys a seafood lunch on boat and have time for another swim. We take a car trip return to Hanoi with stopover at Dong Trieu ceramic village. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8. Hanoi - departure
Free time for you to relax and further explore Hanoi. The trip ends after your transfer to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight. The trip ends where it started.
