Cai Be - Cai Rang floating markets

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh - Vinh Long - Can Tho (L)
AM. 08h00: Pick up at your hotel. Drive from Sai Gon to Cai Be (100 km). Vivid farming activities and the riverine life of the Mekong Delta can be seen en route. Take a boat trip from Cai Be along the mighty Mekong River and its tributaries to view the rive rain of local people who work and play on the waterways of the Mekong Delta. It would be a miss if we do not visit floating market at Cai Be, and a family-run workshop making popcorn, pop-rice. A taste of these local products with green tea brings you a great feeling in tropical weather. Lunch will be set up in a local house that located on an island, which is fertile place for different fruits and trees.

PM. After lunch, taking a short nap on a hammock under the shady garden must be interesting. Cruise to Vinh Long and then drive on to Can Tho - The biggest city in the Mekong Delta (30 km to drive from Vinh Long to Can Tho). O/N in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
AM. Take a boat trip from Ninh Kieu dock to visit Cai Rang Floating Market (one of the biggest and busiest floating market in Mekong Delta), where many different fruits and vegetables are being sold and bought by local people who come to the market in very early morning. Drive back to Sai Gon. End of services. Home sweet home.
