Hoa Lu, 100 km south of Hanoi, was the capital city of Vietnam under the Dinh Dynasty between AD 968 and AD 980. Some of the sanctuaries and tombs have remained completely intact through all the wars, and can still be visited today - a part from the historical aspects. Tam Coc is also a place of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks whose splendor is often referred to as Ha Long Bay on land and you will see why. The highlight of the trip is taking a local rowboat on the Boi River, floating between the towering limestone’s out crops and traveling through three beautiful caves, making for a truly unforgettable experience.
AM: Pick up at your hotel. Transfer to Hoa Lu, the ancient citadel of Vietnam in 10th century. Visiting temples of two Kings: Dinh and Le, walking up and down the countryside and enjoy the marvelous sceneries of the ancient capital in the beautiful Truong Yen Valley.
PM: Transfer to Tam Coc. Have lunch at local restaurant. Get on boat to see landscapes. The boat goes through 3 caves and you will feel comfortable and interesting with cool air there. Return to Hanoi. Tour finishes.
